Publish A book

So you want to write a book. Diving into the world of independent publishing can be intimidating and overwhelming, but don't worry, I'm here to help. For an hourly rate, I will sit down (or call) and help you understand the process of self-publishing, as many times as you need. I have provided one single phone call for some clients, and months of weekly meetings for others. My approach is adaptable and designed to meet your needs.

I not only will provide you with advice and knowledge about various aspects of publishing (how to choose between traditional, small press, and independent; finding a printer; getting the book designed; marketing; and more), but I can also connect you with resources such as cover artists, designers, copy editors, and more.

Publishing a book is a lifetime accomplishment, and whether you want to check an item off your bucket list, share an amazing memoir or story, or launch a writing career, I'm here to help.

My Background

I graduated from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Literature. Since then I have worked in a variety of fields, such as theatre, curriculum, travel, and marketing, and have experience with everything from blogging to developing e-learnings to SEO and more. In addition to writing and publishing my own books, and coaching other writers through the process with their books, I also do freelance writing and copy editing for small businesses and individuals.

Since I began to freelance in 2014, I have worked with over two dozen clients to help them bring their books to fruition, and have delivered presentations on how to self-publish a book at libraries all over NH, ME, and MA.

I currently have three science fiction novels published (The Sagittan Chronicles) and seven children's books (Rutherford the Unicorn Sheep) as well as a variety of short stories published in different anthologies and online magazines.

TESTIMONIALS

As far as putting together a book, essentially from start to finish, you are the “Best”. You took a bunch of bits and pieces and helped me organize them into an interesting book for my grandchildren. I never would have published this book without you.

- Dr. Richard Fralick, DickFralick.com

"Ariele is a very willing and efficient worker. She has taken some of my vaguest instructions and come up with written pieces far better than I imagined were possible. After working on my projects for several months, she has lots of helpful and creative ideas for more content generation. I will definitely continue to hire her for more projects."

- Gary S., GetOsmosis.com

"Ariele has been an invaluable asset in the entire production of my self-published book, THE SACRED SHED ON THE EDGE OF THE RAVINE. I found her responsive, careful, and accessible. Whenever I needed her, she was there to guide me through the ins and out of book publishing. And her knowledge of the self-publishing, online world of Amazon and Createspace makes the entire process so much less daunting. I couldn't have done it without her."

- B.R. Bodengraven, author of THE SACRED SHED ON THE EDGE OF THE RAVINE

"I would highly recommend Ariele. She is an outstanding writer and editor, as well as a creative thinker, and strong curriculum developer. She consistently provides efficient, timely, and reliable services for our company. She is a pleasure to work with and our go-to for all things writing and editing."

- Jacqueline Bessette, Director, Creative Learning Solutions, Dare Mighty Things
