This weekend, I went to the Granite State Comic Con. It was loads of fun, so I thought I would share some of the highlights with you. If you didn't make it, DON'T WORRY. I will be attempting to attend some other local Comic Cons over the next year or so.
We started the day by setting up our booth. You wouldn't believe the weird things that can go wrong when you set up a booth. Part of it is probably that we really have no idea how to use power drills.
It turned out very nicely, however:
I attended with Christopher Kellen, another local scifi and fantasy author. Check out his books!
It's hard to tell which part of the event we liked the best. No, that's a lie. The best part of the event was when we sold a book. So THANK YOU to everyone who bought books, and THANK YOU EVEN MORE to those that took our 3 books for $30 deal. We love you!
It was also fun to see all of the sweet costumes that people were wearing. Flip through the gallery if you're interested:
There were some pretty sweet costumes, as you can see, but these photos only represent a fraction! There were Batmans and Game of Thrones characters and Doctor Whos everywhere. There were Adventure Timers, Steampunkers, a bunch of stuff I didn't know, and Anime Characters. Speaking of anime, I got my picture taken with Grell, from the Black Butler:
I also had my picture taken with the Doctor, Romana, and K9 (I got to hold K9!!!):
And best of all, I got to ride in the TARDIS!!!!
What did you do this weekend?
